Generally the higher up you go in any of the Libraries the quieter it is. At Central Library the 1st and 2nd floors are quieter than the Ground Floor. The floors where the service desks and Reserve collections are, tend to be noisier.
You can also book a group study room for up to three hours if you want a quiet space.
There are Silent study rooms at Central Library on the 2nd floor and in the Law Library.
