Popular question this week

Yes, if you need an article that we only have in print, we will scan and email it to you.

Use the Library Search | Ketu for your campus.

Important! Sign-in to get full access to online content and request options.

Search for the journal title and in the results list, use the ‘Tweak my results’ filters to limit results to Journals.

  • (Online) next to the title indicates an E-journal and you should be able to access it online. Click on the title and check the dates listed against the databases to see the coverage.
  • Available at…[Library] indicates a print journal and we can scan an article for you if we hold the issue you need.

Click on the journal title - if you’ve signed in you’ll see the Request options. If the journal is held at several libraries click on a library location to see these.

Check the Details to see if we hold the issue you need.

If the issue is listed, click on Scan request, and then copy and paste your citation.

If the issue isn’t listed but the Details show that we hold it, select the Request a scan from a different issue option. Enter the article details, or copy and paste your citation.

  • Click on Request and you'll get a confirmation message.

We will scan the article you have requested (within copyright guidelines) and email it to you within five working days, to your @otago email address.

If we don't have the journal or the issue you need, choose the Request an Interloan option and we'll try and locate it for you.
